Ryan Hastings
My name is Ryan Hastings. I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. I've been here in Seattle since 2008 working at Microsoft trying my best to inspire creative thinking. I am also a digital artist who used to craft 3D worlds for video games before Microsoft and decided to try out acrylic painting in 2019.
I set a goal to paint 500 paintings in 2019 to try and find a style. I made 500 paintings, but I think I'm still working on a style. You can see some of those here.
Also, I have a passion for photography. One area has been self-portraits. I've been taking self-portraits for almost 20 years now. Wow, I just added that up in my head. Anyway, just last year I started sharing them online which has felt therapeutic. You can see a range of those here.
