Growing up, I always did my best drawing in math class, had the best conversations when playing ping pong and wrote my best songs while watching TV. These days I find inspiration while making To-Do lists. I enjoy drifting and drawing with no plan in sight.
My palette is whatever is close by. The subjects are skateboarding tigers, tofu, disaffected cafe dwellers, the chilly masses at the market, houseplants etc. Like life, my art can be ridiculous, melancholy, psychedelic, whimsical and repetitive… And fraught with themes of prescriptions to be picked up, playdates to schedule, therapists to meet and so on.
